A call for Scientist B announced for a research project titled “Improving the Health Care
Access and Quality in the Context of Achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) among
Scheduled Tribes: An Implementation Research” funded by Indian Council of Medical
Research (ICMR) under Dr.S.Kalaiselvi.

Selected candidates are expected to work in tribal area and health facilities situated around
Ramtek block, Nagpur.
The qualified shortlisted candidates as per the following criteria will be called for a written test
followed by an interview on 31/08/2021. The total duration of the post is for 16 months
(September 2021 to December 2022 ).

*Candidate who have qualification in Master of Public Health or previous experience in
health system and ready to join by September would be preferred.

Duration of first appointment will be for 11 months. The contract will be renewed based on
the performance evaluation by the project investigator with the approval of the Director. In
case, the candidate is not performing well the candidate can be terminated with a notice of
one week.

Terms & conditions:

This post is a tenure job for fixed duration under ICMR funded research project.

These are not the regular posts under ICMR or AIIMS Nagpur

Based on this experience, the selected candidate cannot claim any permanent employment
either from ICMR or from AIIMS Nagpur
In case the candidate wishes to resign from the post, he/she should furnish a notice of 15 days
period.

Once the project duration is completed the tenure is automatically over for candidate selected
for this project

The candidate should be able to talk fluently in Marathi and Hindi

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview

Apart from the consolidated mentioned salary per month including HRA the candidate is not
admissible for any other allowances
