I would like to talk about healthy eating. In my opinion it is really
important to eat and live healthily but I know it is not easy. Now I would like to mention some tips how your life can be better. First of all don’t spend all your time in front of the TV or the computer. Healthy people exercise for 30 minutes a day. Avoid junk food. Don’t fill yourself up with things that contain lots of fat and sugar. Choose things that are good for you, like fruit and vegetables. Don’t start smoking. Protect your skin. In hot, sunny weather wear sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. Wear shoes that fit properly. I normally eat 3 times a day. I try to eat lots of fruit and vegetables, drink enough water and milk but sometimes it is really hard to pay attention to my diet. There are few things that I like to eat. That’s why it is very difficult to choose dishes that are healthy as well. I like pasta, I eat fish as well but I prefer chicken. I also eat junk food: such as pizza, hot dog, hamburger and I like national dishes for example meat soup, goulash soup and Hungarian fried bread . I know I should change my diet and eat more fresh fruit and vegetables. Vitamins and minerals are very important. We get almost all of our vitamins and minerals from the food that we eat. The most important minerals are calcium and iron. You need calcium for strong bones and teeth. Iron helps your blood to carry oxygen around your body. We get our minerals from meat and fish. Vitamin A is good for your skin and your eyes. We get it from carrots, peaches, peppers, pumpkins and spinach. You get vitamin C from fruit and vegetables. It’s also good for your skin and it fights infections. Vitamin D, which you can get from sunshine, fish and eggs, is important for teeth and bones. There are a lot of different B vitamins. They are important for energy and they help to make the red blood cells that carry oxygen to your muscles. Bread, fish and meat all contain vitamin B. Some important parts of your body, such as your liver and your lungs, need vitamin E. We get it from bread, nuts, eggs and oily fish. I think I am not the healthiest person in the world but even not the one who only eats junk food and drinks unhealthy soft drinks.
