Hello everyone!

My name is Andrea, and I'm a sales executive working for GM, training a
set of advanced communicational competencies in Business English. Today, I will train my
data sufficiency capabilities by describing SALES IN THE COMPACT CAR SEGMENT.

I'm going to be comparing the development of the sales of the aberrant PSM Model in
2015, both in the compact car segment. These are the best-selling models in the compact
car segment, so let’s begin!

Taking a look at this graph, we immediately notice that the FIESTA model started with a
level of trend of almost 3000 sales in the first quarter, until April, when it started to drop
continuously until it reached 1000 sales in August.

They managed to keep those numbers, but with the arrival of November the sales dropped
drastically to 0, since they needed to change their pricing strategies to compete in the
market. Despite this, they managed to recover, improving the numbers to 2500 by
December.

On the other hand, we can see that our model, the AVEO model, compared to the previous
one, we didn't have an easy start.

We started with 2000 sales and managed to increase by 500 in February. We kept that trend
until May, when we started to increase 500 a month up until July, thanks to an advertising
strategy very well planned.

It all dropped slightly in September, and with the arrival of October a sudden drop also
occurred, due to an inventory problem we had.

After this, we had a sharp increase of 2000 by November, and thanks to all of our
strategies, we managed to keep that trend during December as well.

Now, taking a look at the Market Share, we notice that our model took the 61% of it,
meaning that it outperformed our closest competitor by 11.736 units.

Knowing all this, something really important to mention is that both trends, from May to
August, were directly proportional. Let me explain: This happens due to the fact that we
both have the same exact target audiences, so people would stop buying from one, to start
acquiring services from the other.

I really hope that this presentation has been of great help to understand a little more these
models, and that all the information has been sufficiently clear. Talk to you very soon!
