Augusto B. Leguía was the first peruvian politician that was Peru’s president twice. He was
born in 1863 and people know him because he stayed 11 years commanding Perú. He did
many important things but the most surprising were that he finished poverty in some parts of
Lima. He built magical structures and became Lima look very wonderful because of his
constructions. So, Lima is considered as a beautiful city because Leguía did many buildings and
well looking houses. But he committed acts of corruption and for that reason he passed his last
days at prison, dying of an illness with nobody around him, he died in the prison.
