What I know about good governance is it’s a process whereby public institution conduct public affairs

using public resources in a manner that advocates rules of law and human rights. In other words good
governance is an effective process of obtaining and using public power and resources in achieving social
goals. Ethics plays a big part in keeping good governance because most of the rules enforced by the
public institution are based on ethics. For example, truthfulness or honesty is one of the principle of
ethics and at the same time this principle is applied in good governance to maintain the credibility and
accuracy of the information that comes from the public institution or the government.
