Pakistan

Pakistan is home to many natural and man


made lakes and reservoirs. The largest
lake in Pakistan is the Manchar Lake,
which is also the largest lake in South
Asia. The lake is spread over an area of
over 260 square kilometres (100 square
miles).[1] The highest lake in Pakistan is
the Paristan lake, which is also the 25th
highest lake in the world at an altitude of
over 4,755 metres (15,600 ft).[2] The
second highest lake in Pakistan is the
Karambar Lake, which is located at an
altitude of 4,272 metres (14,016 ft), is the
33rd highest lake in the world.[3]
