What is the author’s purpose?  To relay information, to convince, to demand change, to shock? 
The authors purpose is to relay information. Who is the intended audience? Anyone that 10
and older is the intended audience.

other works, and work by other experts.  Look up the author/editor in Google, and if you
cannot get information on the author/editor, look up information on the publishing company.
Marguerite Rodger she has a series called the Creepy Crawlies is the publishing company.

because I learned things that I never knew about these animals

use good information what do you disagree with? And why?

Explore issues the book raises: What possibilities does the book suggest? Explain. What
matters does the book leave out? Explain. None has everything that he/she was to suppose to
cover

Relate your argument to other books or authors: Support your argument for or against the
author's opinions by bringing in other authors you agree with. Don’t have any arguments

Relate the book to larger issues: How did the book affect you? How have your opinions about
the topic changed? How is the book related to your own course or personal agenda.

Is this book useful?  Yes because I was able to get lots of information from the book.

Summary

Overall I learn a lot of things that I didn’t know about termites. Also I’m still learning thing
about termites.20 percent of the earth is mad of termites. Also they have some of the biggest
nests. Therefore I give this a 4 star rating
