Announcement of topic:
Today we are going to discuss “Discriminant and Cube root”
Introduction:
Today we shall discuss about discriminant and also learn that how can we find
cube roots of unity. We Can find the nature of the given quadratic equation by
using discriminant.
Presentation:
First of all we learn about quadratic formula from which we derive discriminant of
the equation.As we Find square root, in the same way we can find cube root of
the given equation. We find cube root of Unity by using quadratic formula.
Summative Evaluation:
• How can you find discriminant of the equation?
• How can you find the cube root of unity?
• Write the sum and product of the cube root of unity.
