The 8 types of intelligence

The type of intelligence that suits me the most is the spatial one. Last summer I got lost in the
city and I had no map or cellphone to help myself. I was in the middle of the city and quite far
away from home. I tried not to panick and started to visualize the map of Bucharest in my
head like in ‘Google Maps’, the map was very well ‘implanted’ in my head so I started to see
myself in a spatial way as well as the streets. I knew that my home was in the East of the city
and I was in the North. While I was walking I started to recognize some buildings and that’s
how I knew I was heading the right way. Even myself I got surprised of how well I managed
the situation. I really love being outside and exploring nature. And I think that my sense of
spatial orientation also came from the fact that since I was little I played outside a lot and my
parents allowed me to go outside most of the time and explore nature. As a conclusion of this
topic about ‘The 8 types of intelligence’ those being: logical, linguistic, spatial, kinesthetic,
interpersonal, intrapersonal and naturalistic. Of course some are more gifted in one field than
the other. But I think that everyone got a little bit of every intelligence and if someone wants
to be become the best for example in the ‘logical’ intelligence he can by studying and reading
more about the topic.
