GROUP PROJECT (Group of 3 or 4 students)

Project aims:
This project designed aims to develop your understanding of, and practical skills in
Financial Institutions and Markets. Upon successful completion of the project, you will
have acquired a solid knowledge and practical skills in writing report. The final report
should provide excellent evidence of your analytical skills that can be presented to
prospective instructors.
To complete this project, you are required to:
1) Select your specific topic – what is your interesting issue from FIM.
2) Progressively conduct project on your selected topic using financial theories and specific
topics identified in the course.
3) Write and present your report

Project Assessment Rationale:

The grade of the project will be determined by combining the marks from the
various assessment components as described followed:

1) Written report: will be awarded for your completed working product. Your written report
must be highly informative, has a deep understanding of the real situation, completed
analysis, and shows a rational recommendation.
The written report must:
- has the Cover Sheet group Assignment
- not exceed 15 pages but may include an appendix of infinite length.
- contain publicly available information and include the most recent information for
the selected topic; and
- be the original work of your group’s members.
2) Presentation: is based on the presentation. Your presentation should be professional to
get the high grade for this part. The presentation is limited to 15 minutes. When the time has
expired. An additional 5 minutes will be provided to answer questions posed by the
instructors.
