Obesity is the main cause of type 2 diabetes and related chronic illnesses that together will kill
more people around the globe this year than the Covid-19 coronavirus. it’s been reported that
obesity was among the more common risk factors that led to people being admitted to intensive
care, This might be due to obesity increasing inflammation and weakening the immune system.

Researchers recently discovered a novel way to fight obesity — tricking white fat into acting
more like brown fat, and in turn, burning higher levels of energy. Although the research was
conducted on human cells transplanted into mice, the new cell therapy, which hinges
on CRISPR technology, could lead to a totally new way of treating obesity, diabetes, and
metabolic disorders in people. HUMBLE cells and white fat cells transplanted into modified
