Should kids have homework?

In modern day history, there have been many debates that have sparked in several
communities. However, a topic most people argue on is whether kids should have
homework or not. Some people consider homework as an alternative to studying, as
many kids don’t prefer studying so homework will be a great way of being used for
studying. Other people think homework is a way of gaining stress towards kids, and that
it prevents their kids from having time for any activities like sports. In my opinion,
homework is a complete waste of time and is a restraint that needs to be dealt with.

Firstly, homework can be very time consuming and can take up a large portion of
the day. Additionally, when kids take homework, they usually study using the questions
that they get in their homework assignments. Multiple middle school students all around
the globe, receive homework daily which is completely unnecessary, because at this age
group students haven’t mastered the skill of time organization. This can cause pressure
for middle school students which can result into bad grades, because of the load that is
being put in these kids’ lives. On the other hand, high school students should be given
homework but not daily, because as the students grow, they develop and begin mastering
new skills and one of these skills are time management. As daily homework, can also put
pressure on high school students and this will also cause a major decrease in grades.
