behavior of a project and the time it takes to execute it; since it is the
starting point for planning.

The time horizon: is how long the prediction is made, this can vary from
a prediction for the next couple of hours to terms of years. The time
horizon will directly influence our choice of forecasting model, and it will
depend on the end sought.
