The three most notable contributions the early inhabitants of Mesopotamia to this day are first,

the first form of writing. The form of writing that we are using today can be traced up to
Sumerian civilization wherein they draw things to depict what they want to say. Different
Inhabitants of their civilization improved their form of writing and has been passed thru different
civilization and time, which what we are using now. Second is their number system. From recording their
trade transactions to building different infrastructure with accuracy that still stands up to this date. Most
of the reason why we are developed to this day is because of the use of number systems. We use
number system in our day-to-day life consciously or sub-consciously. If not for their number system, we
will not be able to build infrastructure, send human to the space, systematic way of recording business
transactions and day to day personal cashflow. Last but not the least is the invention of wheel. I can’t
imagine living to this day walking numbers of kilometers or riding animals to go somewhere. Thanks to
their invention of wheel, we were able to develop not just for the means of transportation but also
different machines to help us in our day to day activity.
