JAMCompact Torque/Turn ™

Monitoring System
The Weatherford JAMCompact torque/turn monitoring system
monitors and analyzes the torque, turns, and speed of
Weatherford power tongs and the OverDrive™ casing-running
and drilling system in real time. This data helps to control
tubular connections during makeup and breakout
and to ensure that all connections conform to
manufacturer specifications.
Compact and lightweight in design, the
JAMCompact system enables easy handling and
installation in both onshore and offshore operations.
The system can be operated locally, via an Ethernet
connection, or remotely. It is ATEX certified for use in
hazardous environments.
Standard software features provide a torque/turn graph,
including a torque/turn tolerance band. Specialized
software features provide statistical analysis and reporting
on location. The system generates customized client
reports with data provided in imperial, metric, or both
systems of measurement. The reports can be transferred to a
removable, encapsulated, 8-GB, standard USB memory stick.

functional in virtually every climate.
