 MUST (-meli,-malı)

Yapılması çok gerekli veya zorunlu olan işler için “must” (-meli, - malı) yapısı kullanılır.

Bir cümlede “must” var ise bu o eylemin kesinlikle gerçekleşmesi gerektiğini bize anlatır.

- I must do homework. (Ödev yapmalıyım.)

MUSTN’T

“Must” ın olumsuz hali “mustn’t” zorunluluk değil, yasak belirtir. Bir işin yapılmaması

gerektiğini ifade eder.

- You mustn’t eat too much chocolate. (Çok fazla çikolata yememelisin.)

- He mustn’t go to bed late. (O, geç yatmamalı.)
