HOLIDAY TRIP OF SMPN 17 PEKANBARU

Me, my friends and teachers of SMPN 17 Pekanbaru went on vacation together on

Saturday, March 2, 2019. In the morning we all gathered at the school to board our buses. Before
leaving, we all prayed together for our safety during the trip. Our bus starts departing from
Pekanbaru at 7:30 a.m. During the trip we sang and ate cakes together. Some time later, our bus
stopped briefly at the mosque because there were some people who wanted to go to the toilet.
After finishing, we continued our journey again.

At 9:30 a.m., we arrived at Ulo Kasok. But to go to the tourist attraction, we had to walk
because the road was climbing so that our bus could not pass it. We felt very tired but we were
very happy when we arrived at Ulo Kasok because the scenery was very beautiful. We taked
many take pictures there because the view is very beautiful.

Then, we continued the journey to Muara Takus Temple. But before arriving there, we
stopped briefly to order food at the restaurant for friends and teachers. We arrived at Muara
Takus Temple at 11.00 a.m. We all descended from the bus and gathered in the field inside the
Muara Takus Temple. There was a man who told us all about the history of the Muara Takus
Temple. We all listened with enthusiasm. After finishing, we also had lunch together there then
continued with the Zuhur and Ashar prayer.

Then we proceeded to the Tepian Mahligai. There is a beautiful and clean lake there. We
were only there for a while because our bus had come back to continue the journey to the Sungai
Hijau. We arrived at Sungai Hijau at 4:30 p.m. As long as there are some people swimming
while others just take pictures on the Sungai Hijau. After being satisfied to swim and take
pictures, we were getting ready to go back to Pekanbaru. We arrived in Pekanbaru at 8:30 p.m.
We feel very happy because we can go on vacation together.
