RAMOS ADMINISTRATION TILL THE PRESENT

Through the years, Philippines has lived as a democratic country wherein there is only one
President who would rule a whole nation. The reigning Presidents has contributed a lot in so
many factors in different aspects and where of contribution. Going back in history, Fidel V.
Ramos was the first president to be a protestant, this made a massive difference to everyone
since Catholic and Christians often dominate the country. However, his whole term went well
and ended his term at the age of 70 in the year 1998. The following President was a former
actor and the very first president who undergone an impeachment trial, he is former President
Joseph Estrada and was the only one who became a City Mayor of Manila after his tenure as
President of the Philippines from year 1998-2001. The preceeding President was Gloria
Macapagal Arroyo who, among all the past president, made an impact to the nation, differently.
She was the first presidential child to become a president. She was the daughter of the former
president Diosdado Macapagal. She was the only one who had two vice president during her
term and the first president to serve in Congress after leaving the office. She has a lot of
government and political titles and her legacy in the Philippines were listed in four Arroyo’s
administration lack in the significant of new investment sustained GDP growth. She reigned in
the year 2001 until 2010. The next president after Gloria Macapagal Arroyo was Benigno
Aquino III also known as as Noynoy Aquino. He was the fifteenth president and the fourth
youngest person to be elected Pesident next to Emelio Aguinaldo, Ramon Magsaysay, and
Ferdinand Marcos. The Noynoy administration undergone a lot of meticulations because of the
projects that was still undone today, after his presidency was the term of our sixteenth
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. He has done a lot of changes in the country with his famous
saying “Change is Coming”.

The President has served its purpose of informing others specifically about the legacy of Gloria
Macapagal Arroyo during her tenure wherein she made an impact to the whole nation by
stealing funds and especially when the allegations about her were proved right.
