TEENAGE PREGNANCY

1. How do you feel about Teenage Pregnancy?

Teen Pregnancy to this day is still considered as an issue in our society due to many
factors such as the absence of a father figure which will lead to the inability of the now
single mother to provide the basic needs of the child due to the lack of resources.  In
order to prevent something from happening you have look at what leads to it. This issue
often occur to teenagers who lack of parental supervision. Parents should guide and
lead their children in the right path by educating them about the effects of being
pregnant at a very young age without having a source of income. However, we all know
that most parents wants what is best for their children but because of poverty and other
social issues they cannot give their children the right guidance. It is very important that
the youth to have good role models that will direct their mindset and energy into a
positive direction. However, there are lots of teenage mothers who responsible enough
to take care of their child and we should respect that.

2. If you are married, how many children would you have and why?
My ideal number of children would be 2 or 3 depending on my source of income. Every
parent will always want what is best for their children, the same thing goes for me as
well. I have to make sure first that I have enough resources to provide a comfortable life
to my children in the future. To give them their basic needs and good quality kind of
education. Family planning is one of the recommended ways to avoid poverty. We
wouldn’t want to see our children grow and suffer because of their parents’
carelessness. One of the reasons why poverty is quite popular among the families here
in our country is because of being overpopulated in their respective families and
because of this, especially when the parents’ don’t have enough resources to provide
their children’s basic needs, their children will sadly have to quit school and to work at a
very young age in order to help their parents’ financial needs.

3. Express your feelings about Responsible Parenthood.

In every family setting, responsible parenthood has always been important especially in
our dangerous world today. Parents are responsible for their children’s actions. They need to
make sure to provide a safe environment for their children to grow up as an individual with good
values. Children reflect on their parents. Therefore, if your way of parenting is not at its best
form, don’t expect your kids to be any different than what they observed their whole life. Parents
need to teach their children good manners, compassion, and the difference between what’s
right and wrong. Teach them to work hard simply by doing household chores. Make them
realize that you can’t attain something in life if you’ll not work for it.
