1. What was the first ever equipment used in playing basketball? How is it being played?
- The first ever equipment used in playing basketball is consisted of two peach baskets
and a volleyball and it was first played with the assistance of the school janitor who
used a step ladder to retrieve the ball from the basket until it became clear that that
was too slow and also unnecessary, since he then apparently drilled hole in the
bottom of each basket, making it large enough to allow him to punch the ball back out
of the basket with a broomstick, thereby eliminating the need for a ladder and greatly
speeding the game up.

2. What is the main objective of basketball?

- The object of the game is to put the ball through the basketball hoop more times than
the opposing team. There are two teams on the court at a time, each trying to score on
the opposing team’s basket. Each side will be trying to prevent the other to score in
their basket, making it more challenging to win. To score a point, or multiple points
will depend on a variety of factors such as distance or foul circumstance.

3. Why did James Naismith invented the basketball?

the winter because it was too cold to play baseball or football outside.

4. Situation: If your team has possession of the ball you are on defense. (True of False)
