ADVERTISEMENT FOR ONLINE CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION IN MSETCL

FOR TENDERS RELATED TO WORKS, PROJECTS & INFRASTRUCTURE.

1. Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd. (MSETCL) has started implementation of
Electronic Tendering system. This system caters for tender related to Works, Projects &
Infrastructure. For participation in MSETCL tender, online Contractor registration is mandatory
NOTE: Contractors registered with MSETCL’s CPA e-tendering system should also
register in this Electronic Tendering system as a new Contractor, if they are interested in
bidding for tenders in this system.
2. Online Contractor registration is now opened on
http://etender.mahatransco.in/eTender/etender. Interested Contractors shall submit their request
for registration on the website only.
3. Following is the process for registration.
a) Go to the address http://etender.mahatransco.in/eTender/etender using Internet Explorer.
b) Click on “New Contractor? Register Now “link
c) Complete the “Contractor Registration form” available on the site and click on the “Save”
button
d) Click on the “Next” button and complete the Contact Details section
e) Click on the “Next” button and enter the “Fees details”
f) Click on the “Next” button, read the details mentioned on the page and click on the “Notify”
button.
4. Registration fee for contractors is as given below,

C Rs 0 TO 50 LAKHS Rs. 5000
B Rs. 50.1 LAKHS TO 2 CRORE Rs. 10000
A Rs. 2.1 CRORE ONWARDS Rs. 25000

In this fee structure:

5 „C‟ type of contractor would only eligible to participate in the „c‟ type tender (i.e. value up to
Rs. 50 Lakhs.)

5 „B‟ type of contractor would eligible to participate for both „C‟ & „B‟ type of tenders.

(i.e. value from Rs. 0 to 2 crores )

5 „A‟ type of contractor would be eligible to participate for all types of tenders.
In case if any bidder / contractor wish to participate in higher level of tender value than that for
which he has registered, he will have to pay the difference of registration fees for which he wish
to participate.
REGISTRATION FEE IS NON TRANSFERABLE AND NON REFUNDABLE IN ANY
CASE.
Contractors are required to pay a registration fee, by Cash, by Online Payment or by Demand
Draft payable at Amravati, in favor of Superintending Engineer, EHV O&M Circle, Amravati,
per registration towards one-time registration charges.

NOTE: Payments made by Cash or Demand Drafts are to be submitted to:

Asstt. General Manager (F&A), EHV CCO&M Zone, M.S.ET.C.L., Amravati.
5. The request for registration will be verified by MSETCL. After invitation for verification,
Contractor will be required to be present with original documents that are requested by MSETCL
for physical verification. A separate intimation by e-mail will be sent to the Contractor for the
same. Contractor should invariably submit the copy of the Receipt in support of payment
towards one time registration charges as detailed at Sr.No.4 above.
6. Appropriate inspections shall be carried out by MSETCL before giving the approval as
registered contractor.
7. After physical verification of documents and subsequent approval by competent authority,
Contractor will become Registered Contractor of MSETCL and will be able to log in into this
Electronic Tendering system.
8. After completion of one year from the date of registration, the contractor will have to renew
the same. Registration renewal fees will be Rs.2500/- per year (Non refundable). Please note that
the Contractor Registration Charges and the renewal fee indicated above may undergo change
without prior notice and Contractors are required to pay the same as applicable at the time of
registration.
9. Further details about online availability and submission of tenders will be informed
subsequently.

Zone, Amravati between 2pm to 4pm on working days on the following address. i.e. C/o. Old
Power House premises, Duffrin Hospital Road, Shrikrishna peth Amravati.
Note: Registration process does not guarantee award of any Contract. MSETCL reserves
right to accept or reject any proposal submitted for Contractor registration, without assigning any
reason.

Short Tender Notice for Vendor Registration
The Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission CO. Ltd. (MSETCL) has started ,
implementation of Electronic Tendering System. The system caters for tender
related to works , projects, services and Infrastructure. For participation in
MSETCL’s Tendering system, online registration of vendors is mandatory.
Contractors/Suppliers/ Service providers willing to participate in e-tendering
process of MSETCL will have to register their names with any Zone/Corporate
Office, Mumbai. The details are available on our website http//www.

On line contractor registration is now opened on Mahatransco’s website
http//etender.mahatransco.in/eTender/etender.
Interested contractors should submit their request for registration
