ZONE SERIES: THIS IS A DOWNHILL, ZONE-BLOCKED RUN PLAY. The zone series allows the center the ability to apply his block towards or away from the direction of the run called. We can incorporate men blocking schemes in our zone series. B. _ MISDIRECTION SERIES: THIS IS A DOWNHILL, B OR C GAP RUN PLAY. The misdirection series may start with a double team at the point of attack. The misdirection action in the backfield allows for maximum movement at the point of attack. This is a super-angle play that borrows blockers from the backside. C. DRAW SERIES This is a downhill, man-blocked draw play. The draw series starts with our box count which enables us to get all potential tacklers accounted for. The RB or QB will read the block of the 1* down lineman playside and we will incorporate a fold scheme on backside of play with center and guard D. OPTION SERIES: THIS IS A DOWNHILL, OPTION FOOTBALL PLAY. The option series may start with a double -team at the Point of Attack, not blocking the End Man on the Line of Scrimmage. With the threat of @ Quarterback run or Quarterback pitch, this puts immediate threat on the End Man on the Line, This series allows an offense to take advantage of unsound defensive numbers. E. DIVE SERIES: THIS IS A DOWNHILL, SURGE-BLOCKED RUN PLAY. The surge series allows the Center and the adjacent Guard to apply a surge block towards the nearest "A" Gap Defensive Lineman. This allows for a maximum movement on the Defensive Lineman nearest the football. F. REVERSES Reverses allow us to counter out top runs and take advantage of over-aggressive pursuit by a defense this also allows us to use “speed” at the receivers position in our run game!
