Journal Entry 1- Title: “WHO AM I?”

In life, there is no certainty, but sometimes, you just have to take a leap of faith. My name
is Adrian G. Salvador. I am 19 years old. I consider myself to be a responsible and hardworking
student. Furthermore, as an outgoing person, I have many friends since I enjoy interacting with
others and learning about new people. I like joining different charity organizations with different
causes because it opens many opportunities to help other people. Promoting a variety of these
will help amplify a lot of voices throughout the process. Being a volunteer with the heart to value
social awareness, obtaining various advocacies creates an open space for understanding. People
need help every day.

To be honest, I have always been uncertain about what or who I want to be when I grow
up. I may be indecisive, but I know that I have always been passionate about making the world a
better place to live by starting with myself. I’ve had bad experiences in my life, but that is
precisely what has shaped me into the person I am now: appreciative, loving, and eager to help
others in the hopes of becoming a happy person with an excellent quality of life in the future. I
suppose it is becoming more evident day by day, and I am taking on a greater sense of
responsibility for what I do and where I go. I know I am on the right track with what I already
have, and I will do everything to encourage others to live their lives the way they want to. My
past does have a significant influence on how I behave. Because of certain circumstances, I
developed an enormous sense of responsibility to help society. I am now able to think not just for
myself but also for the good of others. What’s the point of something good for me but isn’t for
them? It is one of the beautiful character developments I went through, and I am eager to learn
day by day to further better myself. I am always happy to serve the people. In life, there is no
certainty, but I am Adrian G. Salvador, and I will always choose to take a leap of faith.
