Ans1 The following steps are involved in the journey of a cotton fibre from the
cotton plant to the garments in our cupboard:
a. Spinning of the cotton fibre to make thread.
b. Weaving of the threads to make fabric.
c. Stitching the fabric to get the required garment.

Ans2: Natural fibres are different from manmade fibres:


Natural fibres:
They are naturally available.
For eg: cotton, silk, jute, wool

Manmade fibres :
They are made by human beings and produced in factories.
For eg: plastic, nylon, polyester.
