03 – To be – Interrogativa y His/Her
Hello! My name is Tania, I am in my house today, my father and my mother are in the
living room on the sofa, my brother is in his bedroom, and my grandmother is in the garden
with her best friend Lucero.

USO DE HIS/HER (Adjetivos posesivos).


His/her: su – sus:
His: se utiliza para segunda persona masculino (He-él).
Her: Solo se utiliza para la segunda persona femenino (She- Ella).

Ejm:
Él es su padre (no se identifica de quien es su padre).
He is his father. Si se identifica de quien es el padre, es decir, si de ella
He is her father. o de él.

Intorrogativa:
+: My brother is in his bedroom.
?: Is my brother in his bedroom?

+: My father and my mother are in the living room on the sofa.


?: Are they in the living room on the sofa?
Nota: Para realizar una oración interrogativa se mueve el verbo to be al principio de
la oración ya que no existe el signo de interrogación al principio (es decir, abierto).

¿Cómo responder?
+: My brother is in his bedroom.
?: is my brother in his bedroom?
R: Yes, my brother is in his bedroom.
R: Yes, he is.
?: Is my brother in the kitchen?
R: No, my brother is in his bedroom.

Daughter: hija.
Son: hijo.
Box: caja.
Together: juntos.
Of: de.
Today: hoy.
