the other hand, the paragraph on page 70 about ambushes tells that the possible areas for
ambushing have 5UD depth from the long edge of the attacker's side. Or for great battles, the
deployment area is measured from the centre of the table.

Question :

1. For great battles of 300 or 400 points, what are the allowed ambushes' areas ?

Answer :

 The ambushes' areas are adapted to the new areas of deployment due to the wider
dimensions of the table while keeping the principle of a 5 UD depth :
o The attacker may only deploy his ambushes in the area of deployment of
heavy troops (ie no less than 5 UD from the centre of the table), up to the
lateral edges,
o The defender may lay his ambushes up to the centre of the table in the 2 flank
sectors and no less than 5 UD from the centre of the table.
