A 6 93 University of Pittsburgh - appropriations and basis for payments, accounting methods for funds appropriated and certain fiscal information.
This year $160,490,000 and ARRA $7,505,000 compared to last
year’s appropriations were were same at $160,490,000 although ARRA was $8,664,000 AND $7,505,000 ACT 11 SB 1036 so because of ARRA UPitt got less this year than last when it got a millions of shovel ready ARRA money. I will not score this as a reduction because, given the huge 2009-2010 windfall, UPitt should have had a huge reduction to set off last year’s largesse.
Like Penn. State, ARRA money was sent to “shovel ready”
projects and goes away 2011-2012 when Pennsylvania’s Forgotten Taxpayer has to pay for State Employees and State Teacher Pensions.
The Full Disclosure provisions are new and, I think, consistent
with the Pennsylvania Right to Know Law although the State financed universities got some special dispensations.

Last year Act 14 SB 1039 $34, 419,000 and
