This is my quick sketch of Boo, a character in the movie entitled, “Monsters University,

Inc.” She is a 2-year old kid who accidentally entered the world of monsters. There she met Mike
and Sulley, with whom she had formed a very tight bond.
If I were given a chance to be a hero, I won’t choose grand capes or masks or the Robin
hood type of scheme. I’d like to be someone that touches the heart, warms the soul, and
embraces love despite diversity and opposition. I’d like to be a ‘Boo’, who melts even the hearts
of those considered as monsters. I’d like to be a savior in the form of a smiling child.
A kid’s innocence and fair thinking, although seen in the simplest ways, can make big
differences. The friendship formed between children from two distinct races. The hope a person
felt from the piece of candy given by a random kid. The joy radiated by a little one when they
laugh. All these keep us going. These are the prime movers of the doctors, nurses, and medical
practitioners in the current trying times because they think about the bright future the children
can have only if they grow up in a world that is safe and healthy. Besides, kids are the ones who
make this world a little better, a little less cruel. There is nothing more wonderful than seeing a
child’s face light up with a beaming smile (Watkins, n.d.).
