R: this celebration is from New Orleans.
3. What does the celebration mean?
R: it’s refers to the last day to enjoy the carnal and culinary pleasures of the city before lent.
4. Date and length: When do people celebrate it?
R: People celebrate this party on Tuesday before the carnival ends, almost always at the end
of February or at the beginning of March, its duration is one day.
5. Where are you going to celebrate the festival?
R: People are going to celebrate the festival in bourbon Street or the french neighborhood.
6. What do people usually like/ love/ prefer/ to do? What do people hate to do? Special
foods?
R: both tourists and locals like to do dance and have fun, others prefer to wear a masks,
hats. People love eating gumbp, jambalaya and etouffe.
