Inductive reasoning
- process of drawing a general conclusion by observing a pattern based on
specific instances.
- Example :
- There are 10 swans in this pond and all are white. The swans in my
neighbor’s pond are also white.
- Conclusion : All swan are white.

2. Deductive reasoning
- The process of using premises (accepted facts) and logical principles to
arrive at a specific conclusion.
- Example
- All cats are mammals.
- Tompok is a cat.
- Tompok is a mammals
