SAP S/4HANA Embedded predictive analytics is a procedure for compiling large

volumes of data into understandable and human-readable information. It is also
able to predict future behavior and outcomes thanks to forecasting algorithms
and machine learning.
This innovation is directly integrated into the FIORI interface of the ERP, which
allows analysts to have real-time reports in their different business processes,
they can identify what is the issue in their business processes and finally take the
right decisions at the right time.
In this document we will learn how we can train and activate the predictive model
and use it in the corresponding FIORI apps.

But before let me explain you what is the role of this application
Predicted Delivery Delay Fiori App: This is an extremely important application
that helps companies significantly increase their ability to meet delivery deadlines
When you create an order you propose a delivery date to your customer but due
to certain factors you do not always manage to deliver on time. But this
application predicts the probable delivery date according to the history and
certain current factors of the order and this will allow you to anticipate on orders
with a risk of late deliveries.
Important: Make sure that you have the correct roles and authorizations the role
required is SAP_BR_ANALYTICS_SPECIALIST – Analytics Specialist this role give
you the possibility to get access to this 2 tiles: “Predictive Models” and
“Predictive Scenarios”

Monitor Purchase Order Items: is a SAP S/4HANA Analytical app used by a

Purchaser through user interface (UI) technology SAP Fiori elements. With this
app, you can display purchase order items and monitor their status, using filter
criteria such as purchase order, material group, material, supplier, plant, and
delivery forecast. You can also choose a purchase order item to view its item level
information. You can enable your business users to predict the delivery date of
purchase order items, as proposed by SAP Predictive Analytics integrator. The
regression algorithm in SAP Predictive Analytics integrator is used to predict
whether delivery of purchase order items will happen earlier than scheduled, on
time or with a delay. Based on the predicted delivery date, your business users
can take necessary decisions. Note the predicted date is based on training, which
is in turn based on the historical data available in the system.
