Forged in 2007, to the creation of a new company called “GM-Isuzu Camiones Andinos de
Colombia, with the aim of strengthening its strategic alliance and increasing its vehicle sales.
Both companies were of foreign origin, one American and the other Japanese, although both
have their domicile in Colombia and they decidedmeans of the Confederate "Joint Venture" to
strengthen their businesses, and obtain a more developed production line in trucks, assuming
the risk pooled in capital, but with the expectation of receiving dividends set in case of success.
