Cultural hybridisation, or the establishment of translocal mélange cultures, and structural

hybridisation, or the emergence of new, mixed forms of cooperation. Theorizing hybridity
and reflecting on hybridity politics reveals the various forms of hybridity, ranging from
mimicry to counter-hegemony. Transcultural convergence is the flip side of hybridity. There
are two separate cultural notions in use: territorial and translocal, inside and outward-looking,
resulting in opposing perspectives on cultural interactions and globalisation. Hybridisation is
the process of taking a closed idea like culture and opening it up, ushering in post-hybridity.
Some African countries speak French and incorporate it into their original tongue, resulting in
a new language. Cultural hybridization is exemplified by language. Another aspect of culture
that can be merged with various civilizations is music. In Korea, people would occasionally
remix American pop songs to create something fresh. Artists such as Shakira and J.LO will
infuse Spanish into their American songs in order to give America a little more diversity.
