What is the center freq of the folded dipole in Mhz ? 575

LAMBDA = 521.38 mm or 20.527 ins

The Folded Dipole overall length = 246.61 mm or 9.709 ins

The Limb separation range is 10.43 to 52.14 mm or 0.411 to 2.053 ins

The suggested conductor diameter range is 2 to 5 mm or .070 to.197 ins

(Use smaller diameter for higher frequencies)

BAL FEED

***** T - MATCH *****

The T-Match with its balanced feed point is one method of feeding a
Balanced Dipole. A suitable 4:1 balun is used in conjunction with the
T-Match to perform this function. The T-Match, with a 4:1 balun and Balanced
Dipole can be substituted for a Folded Dipole with its 4:1 coax balun. To
construct a 4:1 coax balun see the schematic and the Section on BALUNS for
coax selection and dimensions.

Adjustment of the T-Match with a 4:1 balun is simple - just adjust the
position of the shorts on the Arms until you get an acceptable SWR. For the
lowest SWR it may be necessary to change the length of the Driven Element.
After changing the driven element readjust for the lowest SWR.

***** ELEMENT PROTRUSION FROM BUSHING TO END OF ELEMENT *****

Each element has a shoulder bushing on each side of the boom to

insulate it from the boom. To measure the element protrusion it is
necessary to measure the distance from the face of the bushing to
end of the element.

***** ELEMENT PROTUSION FROM BUSHING TO END OF ELEMENT*****
