Rightfully Wrong

The adage that tackles about the equality of all man regardless of so many
factors is not already established. These rings true today as the issue about gender
sensitivity become more controversial in the past few months. It refers to the medication
of behaviour by raising awareness of gender equality concerns.

Last May 3, 2018, Sotto told Taguiwato a single mom, during her confirmation
hearing before the Commission on Appointments (CA): Tito Sen use other term or what
we called street language. He said that when you are a mother that has children but
you’re single, “Ang tawag dun ay na-ano lang”. It is definitely wrong to accuse a woman
in that way. Single mothers are not like that, if I will be the one to describe them, for me
they are strong and no one can blame them unless they know their real story.

That tag line is used regularly by Tito Sotto and his co-host on the variety show
“Eat Bulaga” Every Single mother get hurt because of what Tito Sen said in many
times. Tito Sotto was sorry about what he had said to every single mother that he
offended. He said it was just a joke because almost everybody laughed. But in my view,
he affronts every single mother.

Moreover, there is an issue about gender concerns by the Presidential

Communication Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson, whose controversial video of
federalism sparked among the officials and online outrage.

Mocha Uson’s video with her blogger co-host Drew Oliver singing “i-pepe” and “i-
dede” while gesturing to his chest and crotch become an issue. The video caught the
attention of all the viewers. For Mr. President Rodrigo Duterte he was amaze about the
video of Mocha Uson and Drew Oliver about federalism. But, many other government
officials disapprove what Mocha and Olivar did. They defended their selves and Mocha
said that experts on federalism should take advantage of the buzz that the video is
created to explain federal form of government. But it is right to say that they disrespect
the women by using their body to explain a very important issue like this.
Thus, theatrical technique will not really work to explain a very serious issue. As
a Filipino citizen, almost everybody is sensitive when it comes to issue about gender.
The government officials should know the right way of saying their opinions about the
topic they should respect others and choose the right words before they speak. They
must be sensitive enough!
