Mobile Legends: Bang Bang continued its spectacular rise in popularity among mobile gamers and

Filipinos’ obsession with the game was aptly matched with an MLBB gold medal in the recently
concluded Southeast Asian Games.

Bren Esports won the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M2 World Championship on Sunday in Singapore,
beating Burmese Ghouls 4-3 in a best-of-seven thriller.

In 2016, the Philippines' Tnc Predator Dota 2 team pulled off the biggest upset in Dota 2 history,
sweeping two-time Major champions and tournament favourites OG 2-0 in the Lower Bracket, removing
what many considered to be The International 2016's best team. (TI6)

After a shocking showing in the Group Stages, TnC narrowly slipped into the Lower Bracket, where they
decisively defeated Vici Gaming Reborn and were forced to face OG on Day 2 after the tournament
favorites were swept by MVP Phoenix to the Lower Bracket.

Having moved on from their underperforming TI9 display TNC Predator gave Pinoy Dota 2 fans
something tangible to take pride in by winning back-to-back LANs.

The victory of TNC Predator in ESL One Hamburg marked the first time a Southeast Asian team won an
ESL event while their first-place finish in the MDL Chengdu Major, virtually cementing their spot in TI10.
