“Past is a nice place to visit but certainly not a good place to stay”.

Life from the past is part of what we are today. People may drastically change may it be
because of someone or something but they will never forget the things that they’ve been through.
Memories from the past always sticks in our minds that molds us of what we are today. It shaped
us to be better and stronger in order to face on what’s ahead.

Living with time made me realized that reality is often disappointing. From what I’ve
expected when I was younger to what I’m witnessing today is completely different. Waking up
to reality is something I’m not ready of. When I was younger I’m a loner just wasting my time
on virtual reality. Amusing myself to online games and videos. My only problem that time is
when there is no power and because of that I can’t live the virtual life I love. Until the day comes
that my eye was damaged by the only thing that made me feel alive. I was restrained from using
the things that amused me. It was hard at first til’ I made friends and manage to entertain myself
to other things not just mobile phones and computers. I was just living my life to the fullest in
games and for fun not minding the what’s ahead of me. I became childish and immature because
the life that I’ve been living. I’ve been living a life of luxury and that life was taken from me
when I now fully understand what’s my life’s going to be if I just waste my time on pleasure and
entertainment. The moment I got to college together with the pandemic is something I’m totally
not ready for. It changed me a lot though I’ve already wasted a year in college and greatly
shaped me for good. The reality of life that I have made me realized that there are things that is
not for you even if you wanted it. My life before mold me and I became business minded and
more mature that I was. My shy attitude fades the moment I start doing online selling into selling
lettuce in a public market not even knowing what to do. It wasn’t easy but a must. Life that I
have now is not what I’ve expected before but what I am now is something I’m thankful for. God
never gives you hardships you can’t endure.

Time can change a person may it be for good or for something we don’t want it to be.
Existing with time makes you realize that change is always there and it’s for you to grab it or
embrace what you still are. You can’t guess what’s ahead of you but you can be ready for it.
