Targets for
SY 2020-2021
The impact of pandemic drastically
changes our lives. Living in these circumstances
becomes very tough because socialization is
limited and discouraged. The threat of this
deadly disease Covid-19 slows down and
temporarily shut down the function and
processes of the many agencies worldwide
including the education sector.
But amidst the challenges that we had faced,
we came to realize that learning should never
stop. Our learners cannot wait, thus education
must continue. As we embraced the new
normal in education, we adapted different ways
or the learning delivery modalities to support
the education while ensuring the health and
safety of everyone. This is the main purpose of
the Basic Education-Learning Continuity Plan
(BE-LCP).
However, these challenges that we met in
education brought big opportunities in the
development and improvement of our
educational system. We learned a lot from the
first year of the new normal in education;we
learned that teaching may happen with
distance learning modalities such as
synchronous and asynchronous online class,
modular printed or digital, TV and Radio and

talents in writing and developing Self-Learning
Modules (SLM), Self-Learning Kit(SKL)SLK,
and Learning Activity Sheets(LAS) for printed
and digital learning materials. We also had the
chance to develop our own google classroom,
video lessons, and even created our own
messenger BOT that can automatically answer
students’ responses via Manychat. 
We used various apps to hold meetings and
attend webinars via Google meet, Zoom and Fb
messenger. We have become more confident in
our ICT skills and were familiar attending
webinars and online training-workshops. 
Our skills in community involvement were
enhanced especially in creating good
relationship with parents/guardians of our
learners. We built harmonious relationship with
them and learned to guide them in providing
education to our learners. Their involvement in
the learning process had greatly enhanced
during this trying times.  Thus, providing the learners with better learning

For School Year 2021-2022, teachers of Virgen Delas
Flores High School are committed to ensure the continuity of
education amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the
experiences last school year, teachers take part in achieving
the educational goals of the school and responding to the
needs, status, and situations of all learners, making sure that
no one is left behind.
Virgen Delas Flores High School will remain
competitive, innovative, and collaborative in devising new
ways to provide learners with quality education. We can build
on our accomplishments from last year and adjust or enhance
the areas where we need to improve. Hence, our target for this
year is aligned in the four pillars of Edukalidad.
K to 12 Curriculum Review and Update
 Adjust the methodologies to enhance the learning
process and provide quality education to our learners
and adapt to the changing needs of education
 Develop a best way suited for each learner to learn.
Classifying the learner’s needs is our top priority.
Given the situation, different strategies should be
implemented. Finding solutions to lessen the burdens
of the learners in understanding the lesson should be
continue learning and enhance teaching skills and
capabilities
 Nurture students’ 4C skills, through online and offline
learning
 Adjust the learning modalities for the learners and
provide them with digital learning materials and with
the possibility of online learning modalities
 Determine the best learning modality suited for the
learners based on the data on MLESF The learning

Improving the Learning Environment

 Improve school facilities to be used in the development of

 Provide an effective tool/platform to make the learning easy
and accessible to all learners.
 Produce more quality learning materials for the learners
that are contextualized and localized.
 Create different learning supports that can be used by the
learners in all forms of life.
 Secure the safety of all school personnel, parents and
visitors through strict compliance in health protocols.
 Enhance the service of the school by creating a virtual help
desk service provider.
 Incorporate a virtual classroom LMS such as the google
classroom or the seesaw application.

Teachers’ Upskilling and Reskilling

 Provide webinars and training-workshop suited to the
developmental and professional needs of the teachers.
 Improve the skills of the teachers in terms of ICT.
 Develop teaching-learning process with the conduct of
action research and innovations.
 Engage the teachers in activities for professional
development; provide them opportunities to learn and
explore innovative ways. This helps in adjusting the
teaching methodologies and strategies that adapt to the
changing needs of education.
 Provide a technical support for the teachers in the
preparation of different learning support for the learners.

Engagement of Stakeholders for Support and

Collaboration

 Collaborate with potential stakeholders and partners that

will support school programs and projects.
 Launch the Virtual Nanay ,a virtual helpdesk provider to
give Serbisyong may Liwanag and Serbisyong may
Malasakit to all the stakeholders.
 Strengthen the partnership of the school in different sectors
and community to deepen its engagement to consultation
for strategic policy, planning and programming.
