My name is Grace Juergens and I am writing to be considered a student teacher candidate in your

district. I am a fifth year student at South Dakota State University majoring in Early Childhood

Education with the Cooperative Program through Dakota State University, along with

completing a Special Education Endorsement. I am very excited to begin my final step of student

teaching in preparation to become an educator.

My teaching philosophy, work experience, and field experience have prepared me to be a

positive addition to your district. I have learned many different essential skills that will help me

support students throughout their learning. My strengths include positivity, adaptability, and

teamwork. I hope to create an inclusive environment where all students are given the equal

opportunity to become a lifelong learner.
