Mix Proportions for samples:
Limestone waste + polyester resin + Curing agent
 Limestone/polyester composites compounded in ratios of
70/30,80/20,85/15,90/10.
 Amount of Curing agent (MKEP) in each compositions are
0.6,0.4,0.3,and0.2 ml

Tests:
 Compressive test using UTM
 Water absorption test
 Thermal Stability test and Flammability test
 Thermogravimetry/Derivative Thermogravimetry Analysis
 Microstructure – Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM)

Result:
 High compressive strength of 7Mpa.
 Better thermal resistance because of high proportion of inorganic
matter(lime)
 Lower water absorption value .
 Good Fire resisitance
 Sustainable and ecological
