Directions: Read the story and answer the questions.

There once lived a little girl named Izzy and her best
friend Bella. Izzy loved Bella and never went anywhere
without her. Bella made Izzy feel special everywhere she
went. Izzy would tell her mother about the adventures
she took with Bella. Her favorite time with Bella was when
she went to Fairy Island with her. Izzy had always wanted
to go, but her mother told her it was just make believe.
But Bella knew different. She knew how to get there and
promised to take Izzy the next time she went. The day
finally came when Izzy and Bella took off for fairy island.
The island was just as Izzy had imagined it would be!
There were fairies of all shapes and sizes. There were
golden fairies, sparkle fairies, and fairies that looked just a
little girl with wings. For lunch they ate fairy fruit and
juice. It was the sweetest food Izzy had ever had! When
it was time to go home Izzy knew that this would always
be the day she would remember. That night as she went
to bed, Izzy told her mother all about going to Fairy
Island with Bella. “You have such a good imagination Izzy!”
her mother said. “I wish I still had an imaginary friend!.”
But, Izzy knew better. She knew that Bella was real and
would always be her special friend.
