Given the exponential spread of COVID-19, on March 15, 2020 President

Rodrigo Duterte declared the entire Philippines under "enhanced community
quarantine" (ECQ) which is effectively a total lockdown.

As student who still have 1 semester left to finish Senior High School the
implementation of ECQ has also brought impacts in our lives especially to our
educations. Since all public places were closed to the nature of disease that can be
transferred to simple human interaction, Schools were closed it means we have to
apply alternative way of learning which is through online learning. Personally I
have no problem to Online teaching and the use of technology to be a teaching and
learning medium It’s just that it requires one thing that Philippines
telecommunication hasn’t solved yet that is the stability of internet service. This
problem is clearly affects our outputs in terms of submission. not to mention that
our graduation rites has been cancelled and the long awaited SHS Days where we
SHSSG put a huge amount of time and effort to pull something that hasn’t been
done before in the Senior High Department but I can’t help but to look back to
those things knowing that it is impossible to happened. Lastly and probably what
worries me the most is about where my father working, Middle east was severely
affected by the virus and it’s spreading fast. I can’t stop thinking about him and his
state overseas.

On the other side 2 months is a really long time so that made me reflect for
my upcoming college life and what course should I choose? or what school should
I go?. This is also the time where I’ve been investing my time to my hobby which
is photography and graphics design. Surely as teen Laziness and not being
productive for a few days is common but I always convince myself to do
something even if it’s a small thing as long as it will benefit me.

Due to uncommon features of the corona virus it will take time to create a
commercially working cure. What we can do is to prevent the virus from spreading
until that time comes, we can use this Quarantine time to reflect on what the
essence of being alive means and gives importance to people we don’t barely care
because they are always there like our family. Hope this crisis will end soon on
God’s perfect time.
