    - Stands to malicious software.
    a. Virus- a malicious software program loaded into user’s computer without a user’s
    knowledge.

    b. Worm- stand alone malicious programs that can self-replicate and propagate via computer
    networks without human help.
    Examples
     ILOVEYOU Worm (Love Bug Worm)
     Code Red II
    c. Trojan – a malicious program that is disguised as a useful program.
     Trojan horse
     Backdoor Trojan
     Rogue Security Software- tricks the user into posing that it is a security software.
    d. Spyware- a program that runs in the background without you knowing it.
     Keyloggers- used to record the keystroke done by the users.
    e. Adware- a program designed to send you advertisements, mostly on pop ups
    2. Spam- unwanted email mostly from bots or advertisers.
    3. Phishing- its goal is to acquire sensitive personal information like passwords and credit card
    details.
