This research is entitled “Academic Performance and Organizational Skills of 4th years

HR Students: Basis for Improved Job Competency”. The center interest of this study is focused

on determining the factors that better academic performance and knowledge about the basics

organizational skills can influence the students to have a better job competency, especially that

we are now facing a challenging situation And possible that organizations raised their standards

to give quality service to the community.

This study will conduct via google forms, and the expected respondents will be 70 in

total, The respondents will only be focused on 4thyears HR students (Human Resource

Management Major) A.Y 2021-2022.


The center interest of this study is the academic performance and organizational skills of 4th

year HR students: Basis for improving job competency. The researcher chose this study to find

out if academic excellence and employability skills do matter for better job competency. And

will students, especially the graduating students, will be able to do the application what they

have learned, and can they contribute it to a certain company they’re applying for. The reason

why the researcher conduct this study is for the graduating students to know how their academic

performance will take effect and therefore, the employability skills that will help them to

increase their knowledge about how most companies here in the Philippines have high standards

and qualifications to get hired by a certain job. Furthermore, the organization sets standards for

an employee based on contextual performance and not just technical. This study will conduct via

google forms, and the expected respondents will be 70 in total, only 4th year graduating HR

students of the University of Caloocan City – Edsa Campus.
