Nervous! I was really really nervous as it was my first time yet my exhilaration got the best of me. I had
to wake up early.

To make sure we don’t miss it, I was somewhat excited to be awake so early which is very unlike me. As
we entered I saw people from all over the world people from different backgrounds, people from
different cultures. I got a luggage trolley and first went in to the check in counter.

I had received all the information which had relieved me a bit and we received the boarding pass, as I
checked in my luggage I could see others doing the same so many suitcases with all different shapes and
sizes it reminded me of a library a collection of all sorts of different colored books with all different
shape and sizes. Then I proceed to the security check where I had to place my carryon in a basket as well
as my necklace and belt. That was the most nerve- racking procedure and I’m glad I made through it
smoothly. Once that was done I had to walk a long way to the terminal soon after that I heard an
announcement being made that there was 20 minutes till departure. Then after a while

I heard "passengers on board flight EK269 to Maldives is now boarding"

After I handed the airline representative my boarding pass , I had to walk through a long passenger
boarding bridge tunnel and was greeted by a sweet air hostess , In uniform ,that was wearing a red cap
with matching red lip stick that guided me to my seat.

My brother was beside me so was my parents, It started to take off and my hands were trembling with
fear and my ears were popping I got more and more scared. It started to move down the runway, it got
faster and faster and before I could know it.

it took off and the pilot turned off the fasten seatbelt sign, that’s when I opened my eyes and realized
we were already way up in the air, when I looked out from the window I got a birds eye view off the
beautiful and stunning scenery.
