1. How might you encourage participation of employees through your leadership?

R: Creating a supportive environment. Team members need to feel comfortable in their


workspace. They should know that while they may strike out, their ideas will be heard and
taken seriously by leadership.

2. Give two examples of times you have used your communication and interpersonal skills to
persuade others?

- I once had to use communication skills to persuade my teammates because there


was a disagreement between me and other team members and I had to communicate
very clear so they could ger what I was trying to do.
- Once As a supervisor I could notice that all the team had bad feelings in regards to the
company, they had bad weeks in the last few days so I had to overcome to what they
were saying and to make them feel better in regards to the company.

3. Describe some of the ways to create an innovative organizational culture?


Being flexible, adaptable and open to new ideas. Also encourage people to take risks and
try new things.

4. What are the components that make up a strategic business plan?


- Installation of new manufacturing plan and machinery.
- Recruitment of new staff.
- Training and development of staff to manufacture the new product.
- Quality controls to manage the quality of the new product.
- Communication and consultation to preserve good working relationships across the
whole staff team, etc.

5. Why might conflict arise within a workplace at any level of the organization?
When people are working together on problems and solutions, since they have different
views and priorities.

6. What approaches could help you achieve agreement?


Assess the advantages and disadvantages of each option and to consider the relative
weighting of each factor identified. Then it should be possible to objectively assess each
proposal in a fair and transparent way.
