Introduction:

Blood Donation is service to Humankind, By Donating Blood you help a
need and save a precious life. Transfusion of blood every year saves
Millions of life all over the world every year, there are Millions of Blood
Donors all over the world But still there are number of countries who
don’t have adequate number of blood suppliers and face the challenge
of blood supply to the patients in the country.The purpose of this project
is to meet the challenging requirement of modern day blood to efficiently
collect blood during emergency.

Objectives:
● The project blood bank management system is designed for the
blood bank to collect blood from various sources and distribute it to
needy people who have high requirements for it.
● The software is designed to handle daily transactions of blood
banks and search detail when required.
● It also helps to register the details of donors,blood collection
details as well as blood issued report.
● The software application is designed in such a manner that it can
meet the future requirements.

Scope:
The Scope of the project is that in a very short span it provides users
with many facilities. It provides an elegant management of blood, list of
hospitals, blood banks and donors online. The main purpose of this
project is to interconnect all the blood banks, hospitals, donors into a
single network, validation, store various data and information of blood
and health of each individual.
Problem statement:
● Entering the details about the blood groups,members,addresses
etc and tracking the databases are complicated when the data is
entered manually.
● Scarcity of blood groups.
● Death due to lack of blood during operation.
● Less awareness of people about blood donation and blood
transfusion.
● The blood bank management system project aims to make all the
procedure automated and therefore with a computer system it can
be more fast and accurate.
● This project aims to build a software that manages all these
cumbersome jobs.
