WATERGATE ASSINGMENT

August 9th, 1974. I am not believing what just have happened. Nixon has left the government because of
Watergate scandal. I still remember when we did not know that he was after all of what occurred. That
times when we thought that June 17 th detentions of the secret document’s robbers didn’t have any
relation with He, or at least until FBI found that some corrupted money from the CRP was related to
them. It was at this point when all citizens started to think about the true about Nixon, and we all saw
him as a dodgy and non-reliable president.

A little time passed until the scandal become worse. This time what occurred was that USA courts
discovered that Nixon had a system in his offices that recorded many conversations, even the ones that
he had with some of his employees. This was illegal so the USA supreme court voted for making Nixon
them the recordings. The voting resulted on that he needed to give them it. Nixon, at first did not
wanted to, but finally he did it. The string point comes here, this is because those recordings finally
closed the June 17th case, but now, he was directly involved on it. This provoked as I said, his resignation.
I cannot even finish believing it. Isn’t unbelievable?
