Title: I CAN SEE YOU, CAN YOU SEE ME? Semester: 2nd Objectives: Light Describe: The properties of light Learning Standards: By doing the experiments, students will gain an understanding the properties of the light Engagement: The class will begin with me giving the instruction with some students to play hide and seek by using a blindfold. Next, we will discuss how are we able to see objects. Exploration: The students are doing the experiment by using torch, ruler, transparent and non transparent object to proof the properties of the light. Explanation: As the students listen the explanation, the students are able to identify how the light travels and why we can see through something but not the others. Elaboration: The students will be using their prior knowledge of the properties of the light to answer the questions in the slide with their partner. The students will discuss their own answer with the others. Evaluation (Assessment Strategies): The students will be assessed on their ability to answer questions that directly given from the teacher about the properties of the light. Rationale: This activity is designed to show the students how we are able and unable to see objects in our daily life, and use this knowledge to make things that using light.
