Research Questions

This study will determine and explore the effects of active learning approach to

strengthen student’s active participation in a virtual classroom setting. It specifically

answers the following question;

1. How can we strengthen student’s active participation in a virtual classroom?

2. How does active learning approach improve our students’ participation in a virtual

classroom?

3. How do we conduct the active learning activities to encouraged our students to

participate in a virtual classroom setting?

4. How can we effectively facilitate activities to improved their participation in an

online setting?

Significance of the Study

The findings of this study would take benefit of the students and teachers in

finding out the active learning strategies in strengthening students’ participation in a

virtual classroom or in an online setting.

Students. This study is significant to the student having learning process in a

virtual classroom setting or in an online class. It will seek as the student’s guidelines

inside the virtual classroom on how they will adjust and improved their participation

during their classes in a virtual classroom setting.

 Teachers. This study will be helpful to the teachers having teaching process

inside the virtual classroom to provide adjustments needed to continuously give

students better learning experiences in a virtual classroom setting. This will be served

as their as their guidelines in improving and strengthening students to actively

participate and engaged in a virtual classroom.
